The invention relates to a means for controlling the brakes of a bicycle, in particular a racing bicycle.
The purpose of the invention is to increase the controllability.

Handlebar 1 has a middle section 2 for mounting the bicycle's steering column and two upturned ends 3 and 4, pulled forward and upward. Handles 5 and 6 are provided at the ends of the handlebars, each of which contains a large cavity 7 and the bottom of the sidelines 8 and 9- Each of them is provided with | | jack 0, where the block 11 is inserted, provides rotation of the levers 12 and 13 around the X axis parallel to the Y axis of the handles of the rudders 5 and 6. The bracket 15 is provided with a spherical head 16 coupled with another element 17 of a shear hinge, also connected with another spherical head 18, fastened to the shoulder of the L-shaped rocker arm 19.
The arm 19 is pivotally mounted on a fixed axis 20, provided inside the handle in cavity 7. All mechanisms are inside this cavity. At the rocker arm 19, there is another shoulder, which with its end 21 presses against the rod 22, which actuates the piston 23 of the main brake cylinder. The master brake cylinder is powered by a reservoir 24 provided in the upper portion of the handle at the expansion acting as the protective end of the roll.
It is also possible to use the cable drive mechanism shown in FIG. 5. In this case, the bracket 15 is connected to the pivot element 25, connected to the beam 26, which moves the cable 27 of the flexible cable 28.

Claims (8)

1. Brake control device for a racing bicycle containing a bracket fixed on the rudder section forming the handle, in which the control lever is pivotally mounted, which can be rotated around an axis parallel to the longitudinal axis of the rudder pipe section, on which the cyclist's arm can be located control lever with an input element of the power transmission drive brake pads carrying friction linings, characterized in that, in order to increase the control comfort, the lever ION is pivotally mounted about an axis parallel to the longitudinal axis of the handle.
